The Outstanding Teaching Awards for 2008-09 will be presented to two Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts faculty members in recognition of significant contribution to the School through exemplary teaching. Award recipients will each receive a faculty development award of $2,500.
All Sam Fox School teaching personnel are eligible to be nominated. To be considered for the award, faculty must be nominated by at least five Sam Fox School students and/or faculty. All nominations should include a statement of nomination, either on this form or in a separate letter.
Each candidate who receives five nominations will be asked to submit evidence of student and faculty evaluations and a portfolio or documentation of student work. Winners will be chosen by a committee of tenured faculty appointed by the Dean.
