Graduate portfolios

As a painter, I am intrigued by how photographs from the media form our perception of the world. We accept these stylized images with saturated color palates to document an objective event; therefore, they represent the truth, just as one accepts the world map as a genuine representation of the world without considering the motive behind the map production. My works probe at the persuasive power of seductive images we consume and encounter everyday.
