Graduate portfolios

Inspired by Jeffrey Eugenides' novel, The Virgin Suicides, I explore the intensity of womanhood by capturing both the ethereal and pensive qualities of beautiful girls, and a boy's fruitless quest to understand and recreate their enchanted lives. Their immense knowledge of this world will forever remain untapped by the infinitely mortal male.

I am currently an MFA student at Washington University in St. Louis, and received my BFA in media arts at the University of Tennessee. I lived in Knoxville, Tennessee, for most of my life, but am getting used to calling St. Louis my home. My work will forever be dedicated to the wonderful women in my life.
