Parabola: Extraterrestrial

December 6, 2019
Des Lee Gallery, 1627 Washington Ave.

The Des Lee Gallery and the Graduate Arts Organization present Parabola: Extraterrestrial, an exhibition that seeks to celebrate interdisciplinary collaboration across all fields of graduate study at WashU and unite individuals across disciplines and differences, with the intention of leading conversations that explore identity in our community.

Expanding thought and questioning preconceptions, graduate students explore new modes of thinking. Generally expanding upon and challenging assumptions of the originating, the existing, or the occurring, in or outside the earth or its atmosphere. The work is contextualized through these themes and provides a lens through which we understand alternative realities. The exhibition is curated by MFA in Visual Art students Alex Klein and Emily Mueller.

The opening reception will take place from 6-9p, Friday, December 6. The gallery will also be open 1-6p on Saturday, December 7.
